Orchestra
A sought-after orchestral musician, I have served as Principal Viola of the Wisconsin Chamber Orchestra since 1987 and have been a member of the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra since 1992. Over the course of my career, I have held principal viola positions with the Whiting Park Festival Orchestra, the Maud Powell Festival, the Dubuque Symphony, and Dorian Opera. My orchestral experience also includes performances with the Chicago Pops, New World Symphony, Lincoln Opera, South Bend Symphony, Illinois Philharmonic, and Kenosha Symphony, reflecting a career dedicated to artistic excellence and collaborative performance across a wide range of ensembles
Chamber
Driven by her lifelong love for the intimate collaboration of chamber music, Nora balances a vibrant career as a performer, coach, and educator. In addition to her orchestral commitments, she performs regularly with the LaSte’ Duo and the Rise String Quartet. Nora brings this same dedication to the classroom, faculty-coaching for organizations such as the Fischoff Chamber Music Academy, Purdue String Ensemble, and Northwest Indiana Youth Symphony to mentor the next generation of young artists. Expanding her artistic horizons, she has also recently collaborated as a member of an all female viola quartet.

Church
For more than three decades, I have been privileged to serve Lutheran congregations in a variety of music ministry leadership roles. My experience includes serving as Music Director, Choir Director, and Worship Committee Chair at Beautiful Savior Lutheran Church (2000–2006) and Wisconsin Lutheran Chapel (1986–1993), where I planned worship, directed vocal ensembles, and collaborated with church leadership to create meaningful worship experiences. Earlier in my ministry, I served as Choir Director at Bethlehem Lutheran Church (1982–1986) and as a Church Musician at Abiding Word Lutheran Church (1976–1986). Throughout my ministry, I have been committed to enriching congregational worship through music, developing choirs, mentoring musicians, and fostering vibrant, Christ-centered worship.
